Registrant Entitlements

An exclusive Brunei Half-Marathon Event Tee,  Special edition of  Brunei-Half Marathon 21 km Finisher Tee, Foldable Bag,  Race BIB with safety pins and post-race refreshments. 
 

Eligibility

  1. Entries and bibs are non-transferable. Violation will result in disqualification and no refund of the entry fee will be entertained.

  2. AKIF Media Marketing & Event (“the Organiser”) reserves the right to disqualify, exclude any person from the race, and to take disciplinary action to applicants who provide incorrect personal data/details on the entry form, including those who have been banned from competitions, or who have been suspected of having taken banned substances. No refund of the entry fee will be entertained under any circumstance.

  3. Participants who do not wear the valid bib of Brunei Half-Marathon 2023 are not allowed to enter the racecourse. Those who violate this rule will be asked to leave the course immediately.

  4. Participants will be disqualified if they do not start at the designated start line race and start time assigned by the Organiser.

Terms & Condition and Rules & Regulations
All participants must agree to the following terms and conditions, rules and regulations in order to proceed


The following applies to all entrants.

  1. The official entry online form must be completed fully by each intending participant. Completion of the entry form and payment of the entry fee represents acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  2. The Brunei Half-Marathon is organised in accordance with the rules and regulations of AKIF event together with our race consultant; the EXCO of Brunei Darussalam Athletics Federation and all participants agree to abide by these rules and regulations and comply with all reasonable directions and decisions made by the officials and representatives of the AKIF event.

  3. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organisers to ensure the participant's safety. Participants run at their own risk and the organisers shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage whether personal or otherwise and howsoever arising. All participants accept responsibility for travel and medical insurance and for payment and/or reimbursement of any medical/surgical expenses incurred.

  4. There is an official four (4) hour finish time limit for the Half-Marathon (21KM) category. Any remaining participants after this time are requested to run on the footpaths or have the option to be collected by our crew using a sweeper car. 

  5. In accordance with the rules and regulations of AKIF event and our race consultant, a runner must retire from the race immediately if requested to do so by any member of the official medical staff.

  6. There will be no refund or transfer of participation for those participants who do not take part or if the event is cancelled for whatever the reason.

  7. The organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse any entries.

  8. Race Entry Pack MUST be collected during Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) day on December 01, Friday from 02:00 pm to 09:00 pm at Tarindak D'Seni, Jalan Residency, in Bandar and on December 02, Saturday from 05:00 pm to 09:00 pm at the Lobby, Stoneville Hotel Bangar, Temburong. NO COLLECTION OR CLAIM of Race Entry Pack on the Race Day or AFTER the event. A participant who is not able to collect the Race Entry Pack may appoint someone to collect on behalf during the RECP day.

  9. Confirmation of registration to the Brunei Half-Marathon will be sent via email after payment of your registration received.

  10. Any uncollected Race Entry Pack during the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) will be donated to charity and will NOT be claimable after the event. Participants may collect their respective Race Entry Pack by nominating a representative and bring a copy of ID and Confirmation of Registration document.
