Eligibility

  1. Entries and bibs are non-transferable. Violation will result in disqualification and no refund of the entry fee will be entertained.

  2. AKIF Media Marketing & Event (“the Organiser”) reserves the right to disqualify, exclude any person from the race, and to take disciplinary action to applicants who provide incorrect personal data/details on the entry form, including those who have been banned from competitions, or who have been suspected of having taken banned substances. No refund of the entry fee will be entertained under any circumstance.

  3. Participants who do not wear the valid bib of Brunei Scout Charity Run 2021 are not allowed to enter the racecourse. Those who violate this rule will be asked to leave the course immediately.

  4. Participants will be disqualified if they do not start at the designated start line race and start time assigned by the Organiser.

Terms & Condition and Rules & Regulations
All participants must agree to the following terms and conditions, rules and regulations in order to proceed


The following applies to all entrants.

  1. The official entry form must be completed fully by each intending participant. Completion of the entry form and payment of the entry fee represents acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  2. This is a fundraising event to raise fund for Brunei & Muara Scout Association under the Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam. Each registrant will be issued with BSCR Donation Card to collect fund /donation for Brunei & Muara Scout Association which required to be surrendered together with fund collected DIRECTLY to an authorised member of Brunei Scout Association as stated in the approval letter of permission to raise fund/to get a donation in monetary from the Ministry of Home Affairs BEFORE collecting your race entry pack during Race Entry Pack Collection day. 

  3. Please be reminded that the donation card is non-transferable and runners are fully responsible for their donation card. In the event that the donation card is lost, runners are required to obtain a police report. Upon the filing of a police report, runners will be provided with a receipt from the police which will be used to exchange for the race entry pack.

  4. The Brunei Scout Charity Run is organised in accordance with the rules and regulations of AKIF event and all participants agree to abide by these rules and regulations and comply with all reasonable directions and decisions made by the officials and representatives of the AKIF

  5. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organisers to ensure the participant's safety. Participants run at their own risk and the organisers shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage whether personal or otherwise and howsoever arising. All participants accept responsibility for travel and medical insurance and for payment and/or reimbursement of any medical/surgical expenses incurred.

  6. There is an official two hour finish time limit for the 15K category with police and medical support. Any remaining participants after this time are requested to run on the footpaths.

  7. In accordance with the rules and regulations of AKIF event, a runner must retire from the race immediately if requested to do so by any member of the official medical staff.

  8. There will be no refund or transfer of participation for those participants who do not take part or if the event is cancelled for whatever the reason.

  9. The organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse any entries.

  10. Race Entry Pack MUST be collected during Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) day on February 26, 2021 located at Level 4, Bangunan Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam, Jalan Gadong. NO collection or claim of Race Entry Pack on the Race Day or AFTER the event. A participant who is not able to collect the Race Entry Pack may appoint someone to collect on behalf during the RECP day.

  11. Confirmation of registration to the Brunei Scout Charity Run will be sent via email after payment of your registration received before the deadline.

  12. Any uncollected Race Entry Pack during the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) will be donated to charity and will NOT be claimable after the event. Participants may collect their respective Race Entry Pack by nominating a representative and bring a copy of ID and Confirmation of Registration document.
