DEVELOPMENT RUN
In conjunction with the World Town Planning Day, Badan Kebajikan dan Sukan of Department of Town and Country Planning under the Ministry of Development will be hosting the first Development Run on February 16, 2020.
Development Run is set to take the stage at the latest jewel of the capital - Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas. This riverfront park's manicured lawns with colourful tulips and imposing baobab trees along with 1.4km riverfront promenade by Kedayan River - is part of the Bandar Seri Begawan Development Master Plan revitalising project of the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Development Run 2020 goals are
- To highlight it's mission of "Conducive Place for a Balanced Lifestyle" by fostering a relationship with members of the public.
- To learn the functions of Town and Country Planning and spread the love of being a responsible nation to maintain and preserve the surrounding environment for the future generation.
- To engage the community of all ages in an enjoyable and healthy way by unites participants in this fun event.
Offering three (3) category;
- 15 km Competitive Race,
- 5 km Fun Race
- 2.5 km Family Run
All category is open to the local and international participant with cash prize award for top three - For 15 km men's and womens' open category.
Registration for the Early Bird period will open on December 15 & 16. Normal registration from December 17 onwards until the closing date, Jan 16 before midnight.

RACK PACK COLLECTION
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Runner,
Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) will be held for ONE Day only, February 14 from 10:00 am to 9:00pm.
Please bring confirmation of payment email sent to you or payment receipt - NOT submission of registration email (We recommend loading this on your smartphones) at REPC Day on 14th February to get your Race Entry Pack.

IMPORTANT: IF you're not able to collect your race pack in person, you may nominate someone to collect on your behalf. Please note that you will only be able to collect for a maximum of five (5) other persons.

COURSE DETAILS
Start / Finish Line
Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Map route for all category will be revealed as soon as it has been finalised and approved by the Traffic Police and Brunei Darussalam Athletics Association.
Medical
Medical support will be on stand-by at Development Run. They are located in one area after the finish line.
Event Tee and Medal
For 10km rand 5km category, a finisher medal will be given to all participants with a finisher medal after completion of the race. NO medal for Family Fun Run participant.
Hydration
Isotonic water and drink water will be after the finish line and drink water along the route of 10km and 5km. More details of the location of water station soon.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The measured 15km and 5km course will begin at the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas and pass through the picturesque Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge and loop around Kampung Lupak Luas providing a unique opportunity for participants to run in both the city of Bandar Seri Begawan and serene surrounding of a village (for 15km race only). The route will feature breathtaking views of the city’s well-known Kampong Ayer on the Brunei River and the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
